Training Style
Harry has over ten years experience using drama in the learning environment. Coupled with his business background and experience as a manager in the corporate world he brings situations to life and ensures that people get the most out of interactive workshops and drama based events.
His facilitation style is interactive, challenging and supportive. He has a flexible style and the techniques he uses include interactive case studies, corporate brain and auctions which all allow the group to explore behaviours and attitudes on a full spectrum of topics. He also works with individuals providing the opportunity for them to practice dealing with a situation and receiving feedback.
He encourages the delegates to coach each other and build up effective strategies in a ‘safe’ and non-threatening environment. This technique of training often allows delegates to raise any issues they may have anonymously i.e. via the actor/character, so enabling them to feel more comfortable and able to address situations.
Harry is particularly good at creating believable characters, for recent assertiveness training he created a nightmare of a person, the scene was played out for the group and then the group had to handle the situation. |
